Sai Chitra Yatra

“There is no difference between Me and My picture” – Shirdi Saibaba mentioned in “Sai Satcharitra” in multiple instances.

This unique opportunity of inviting Shri Sai, in the form of his portrait to devotees’ homes for a week has been initiated by Sai Temple, Surrey to invoke Baba’s blessings and to bring Sai lovers across Vancouver under one roof. During this period, devotees can offer daily pooja, read Sai Satcharitra, offer Naivedya, perform Aarti, host Bhajan Kirtan etc.

Baba bless all and one! Om Sai Ram!

Vishnu Sahasranaam Path

Shirdi Saibaba had tremendous belief in the Vishnu Sahasranaam and he often used to favor his devotees by granting them religious books like Vishnu Sahasranaam and Adhyatma-Ramayana, so they get benefited from reading those regularly.

Excerpt taken from Chapter 27, Shri Satcharitra – ‘Shama was a very intimate devotee of Baba and Baba wanted to favour him in a particular way by giving him a copy of Vishnu-Sahasra-Naam (a book giving a thousand names in praise of Vishnu) as Prasad. Baba said, “Oh Shama, this book is very valuable and efficacious, so I present it to you, you read it. Once I suffered intensely and My heart began to palpitate, and My life was in danger. At that critical time, I hugged this book to My heart and then, Shama, what a relief it gave me! I thought that Allah Himself came down and saved Me. So, I give this to you, read it slowly, little by little, read daily one name at least and it will do you good.’

Vishnu Sahasranaam Path (chanting) is held on third Saturday of each month by the great Sai Lehari Group.

Naam Japa

OM SAI SRI SAI JAI JAI SAI :

Shri Sai was very fond of Nama Smaran and Nama Sankeertana. The divine chanting (Nama Sadhna) of Sai Tarak Maha Mantra Om Sai Sri Sai Jai Jai Sai is a powerful protection shield and prayer of Baba. As a core form of worship, Baba has laid out this simple yet powerful method of prayer as “Nama Japa.”

It is conducted monthly (evenings) on the16th, followed by Hanuman Chalisa (Ode to lord Hanuman) and additional bhajans (religious songs/hymns.)

Nama Japa is graciously conducted by our talented Sai Eshwari ji.
